Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, including:
- 4 engineers (mechanical, chemical, electrical/manufacturing)
- 2-3 tool and die operators
- 4-5 maintenance technicians
- 1 outsourced controls specialist
- Manage complex manufacturing processes, including:
- Solder production (wire, paste, and preforms)
- Chemical blending for flux and liquid chemicals
- Thermal Interface Material (TIM) production
- High-speed stamping and punching operations
- Oversee automation systems, including PLCs and vision-based quality control
- Manage CAPEX projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with global teams on process improvements and new product introductions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards for chemical handling and processing
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in electronics or chemical manufacturing
- 2-3 years of managerial experience
- Expertise in extrusion, stamping, and high-speed punching processes
- Familiarity with PLCs, automated production lines, and vision systems
- Knowledge of semiconductor materials and thermal management in electronics
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong project management and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary range: $120,000 - $150,000
- Annual performance bonus: 15% target with potential to earn up to 27% of base salary (180% of target)
- Bonus payout occurs once a year in April, based on company metrics
